Having a baby is not all cuddles and love. It’s a day to day activity that is both stressful and tiring. The what’s and how’s on parenting include what to feed him/her; what to make him/her wear; what to let him/her play with; how to know if what you’re giving him/her is 100% safe; how to be sure that you’re giving your babies your best. The list goes on. Parenting is an unsure business. You never expect to see the same results. But when you’re positive that what you’re giving him is out of harm’s way, all else will follow.

A lot of baby products are out in the market nowadays but not all of them are safe baby products. The safe one comes in green products and those that are phthalate free. Babies, even if they’re still young, can be exposed to harmful toxins that are present in the materials used to create baby products. No parent wants that. As much as possible they want to keep their babies safe and protected. Green baby products are produced without the toxins of any sort, fertilizers or any form of additives which makes them a better and healthier alternative for your young ones. Parents are assured of his health, his progress and development over time. All parents should go for the best alternative which will provide a safe haven for their kids.

Many baby products may claim to be non toxic products but you have to double check to make sure. When it comes to your baby’s health, nothing is more important.

Organic Food Is More Nutritious For Babies

Organic Baby ProductsOrganic baby products are the best choice that parents can make for their children. Organic food is also more nutritious for babies and toddlers because they are made without growth hormones, pesticides and antibiotics which are present in many conventional foods. Babies are more prone to be at risk of adverse reactions to toxins and artificial ingredients found in conventional foods. Fruits, vegetables and meats used to make conventional baby food are condensed and this causes pesticides and growth hormones to cluster. Because babies and toddlers are still developing, they are very vulnerable to damage that toxic residues cause.

Some parents are hesitant in going organic because of the higher cost. Most organic foods are more expensive compared to their conventional counterparts, but local farmers markets usually have grown organic produce and numerous retailers carry popular brands of organic foods at very reasonable prices. Along with purchasing organic baby food, many parents buy other green baby products for health and environmental benefits of their children.

Aside from buying organic food for their babies, adding cloth diapers and outfits that are made from organic cotton in your shopping list is suggested, since conventional clothes and diapers are known to contain harmful chemicals that can irritate the baby’s skin. As parents, spending a little more than we should for our children’s safety is definitely the most ideal thing to do. As the saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Did you know that 20 to 25 percent of herbicides worldwide are use to grow cotton? 10 percent of pesticides worldwide are also used on cotton and these chemicals end up in the air, water and ground. Pesticides present a higher reason for concern with our children because of their low body weight and high metabolism. There are numerous reasons why we parents should choose organic baby products for our babies.

While synthetic baby products may be less expensive, green baby products provide a safer and more natural product for children. Natural baby products do not contain the chemicals or pesticide residues that conventional products contain and this makes them the more reliable choice for natural baby care.

Hemp is actually breathable fabric and it is also very versatile. It is wonderful to use for baby for many different reasons. This plant can be grown without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Many products deplete soil of nutrients but hemp does just the opposite because it adds nutrients to the soil; it is a valuable renewable resource. One of the materials used to make organic cotton bedding and diapers is hemp. These diapers and beddings will last through several babies and what’s best about it is that the more you wash them, the better they are. They become softer and more absorbent with every wash.
